Service providers
The companies that process information on CanServe's behalf, and what each one handles.

We tell account administrators before adding a provider that handles personal information.
Who processes what
- Hostinger — hosting for the platform and its data, on servers in Canada. Handles everything stored in CanServe.
- OpenStreetMap Foundation — map tiles and address look-up for the maps in the dashboards. Receives the map area or address being looked up; no account or case data.
- Delivery partners — the process servers, couriers, and bailiffs who carry out service. They are contracted to CanServe, bound to confidentiality, and see a case only while the job is theirs.
- Payment processor — when card payment goes live, card details will be handled by the processor and never stored by CanServe. This page will name them before that happens.
- Email provider — for the notifications and links CanServe sends. To be named here when outbound email is connected.
How we choose and watch them
We use as few providers as the service allows. Each one is bound by contract to use the information only to provide its service to us, to protect it, and to return or delete it when we stop using them.
Where a provider could process information outside Canada, we say so above.
