Service of process
Send us the documents and the person or business to be served. We plan the service around the rules of the province, assign a process server who works that area, and keep you posted from the first attempt to the signed affidavit.

Canada is a party to the Hague Service Convention, which sets out how documents from other member countries are served here. We prepare the request, work with the Central Authority for the right province or territory, track it, and return the certificate of service to you.

Many matters don't move until proof of service is on the court file. With serve and file, we serve the party and then file the signed proof with the court, so you don't have to make a second trip or book another courier.

An old address costs time and attempts. Add an address investigation to an order and our researchers look for the party's most likely current address before a process server is sent out. If a new address turns up during service, we can run one then too.
